Formerly, Dave served as President & CEO of EDGE Mentoring for nearly six years – the nation’s largest, faith-based, whole-life intergenerational mentoring organization. Dave led EDGE full-time as the founding employee growing the program to over 1,000 mentors and mentees from 45 states and six countries. EDGE also produced the highly successful, sold-out EDGE|X conference four consecutive years from 2016-2019 featuring national speakers and thought leaders such as Tony Dungy, Mitch Daniels, Shauna Niequist, Sage Steele, Bob Goff and others.
Prior to EDGE, Dave worked for ExactTarget (now Salesforce Marketing Cloud) for two and a half years and Pacers Sports & Entertainment for four years in a number of sales and marketing leadership roles. Dave has a passion for building compelling brands, creating strategic partnerships, developing and convening top talent, empowering winning cultures and accelerating revenue growth and impact.
Dave was named the Nonprofit Professional of the Year in 2019 by United Way of Central Indiana. He was also named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2016 Forty Under 40 list recognizing rising stars in Central Indiana. Dave was also recognized as a 2013 Inspire Award Winner in the Marketing, Media & Athletics category for his commitment to mentoring in the workplace and community. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of National Christian Foundation (Indiana) and on the Advisory Board of Discovering Broadway. Dave graduated from Ball State University with his B.S. in Sport Administration. He is married to Joelle and they have two young children, Lincoln and Nora.
