As a pastor, Jason realized that unless he became financially free, he was a liability for his church and his family. He decided real estate investing would be his vehicle for financial freedom. As a man, husband, father, and Kingdom leader, Jason wanted to make sure he was participating in what God was calling him to. He began his pastoral career at 20 years of age. As a man who found himself needing to provide for his family, he knew that he needed a vehicle to build wealth. "I didn't want my pastoral calling to be manipulated by a paycheck," says Jason. Jason's journey started with a burning desire to create a life of financial freedom and generosity for the Kingdom. As he grew in his career, he understood that real estate investing was the way to create this life of freedom and generosity. Jason purchased his first small rental house in the summer of 1995 as a hobby. One small house grew to four, then five. In time he began purchasing multi-unit apartment buildings, and his hobby eventually grew into his primary income source. Together with his wife, Jason owns a few hundred units across the state of Missouri.
